Together with her 3 partners, Shlomit founded MyCheck in 2011, since then she acts as the Global CEO, managing the company activities in the UK, US, Israel and Brazil. Shlomit is also responsible for the establishment of some of the company’s key partnerships, like MasterCard, Paypal, Pango, and others. Shlomit was formerly an Account Supervisor with Saatchi and Saatchi Israel and prior to that, helped develop another startup while living in London. She received her Executive MBA from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Tal Zvi Nathanel, Co-Founder and US CEO, is the creative genius behind the MyCheck concept. With over 11 years experience in marketing and design, Tal co-founded the Atarim Group, an internet marketing company focused on monetizing online applications for youth and tweens, and Bluestone Promotions, one of the leading event promotions companies targeting students in Israel. In 2008, Tal was recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of the top 300 most influential people in Israel under 40. Tal earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Recanti School at the Interdisciplinary Center in Israel.
Erez Spatz, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, is the mastermind of the MyCheck platform and is the one who makes Shlomit and Tal’s ideas a reality. Erez has over 15 years experience in database design and integration, which included project management work for one of the most mission-critical programs within the Israel Defense Forces. Erez was Tal’s co-founder at the Atarim Group, where he served as Chief Operating Officer for 4 years. In 2008, Erez was recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of the top 300 most influential people in Israel under 40. Erez has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Management from Open University in Israel.
Asaf, a Co-Founder of MyCheck, has a decade of expirience as an entrepreneur in the Israeli startup industry. leading teams to build businesses and partnerships from the ground up. Asaf is also a respected lecturer on entrepreneurship and online marketing at some of Israel's finest universities such as Ben-gurion university and the Interdisciplinary centre in Herzliya. furthermore Asaf has lead the international launch and marketing of Strauss Water and their partnership with Virgin to the UK. Asaf now leads the MyCheck team in Israel to build up operations and penetration into the companies home market.
Itay Nebenzahl, CFO, is a cross-industry professional, with more than 15 years' experience in public and private companies with up to $120+ million in revenue. Itay is MyCheck’s money guy – overseeing finance, accounting, forecasting, and investor relations. Itay has worked with a number of leading companies in diverse and fascinating industries, most recently as the CFO of a global provider of English-language learning services and apps. Itay holds a B.A. in Economics and Business Management from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, and an MBA with a specialization in Finance from the College of Management in Tel Aviv.
Gil Hazan, SVP Business Development and the Managing Director Europe, is opening new regions and exploring future opportunities for the company. Currently he is building, supporting and propels the UK and European markets with MyCheck’s global vision in mind. With his expert knowledge in the hospitality sector, he makes sure we are fast, accurate and smart. Previous to joining MyCheck, Gil headed several restaurants and bars, which under his management displayed unprecedented yearly growth. Prior to his involvement in the hospitality industry, Gil was a senior project manager in the Israeli Airport Authority.
Cyndi Shepley has dedicated more than 3 decades to the hospitality industry. She began her career in hospitality managing hotels and restaurants. Her operational management experience provides Cyndi with a unique perspective and keen ability to translate client needs. She moved into selling solutions joining several start up companies such as Flagler Systems, InfoGenesis, HSI, Agilysys and Eleven Wireless. She had the privilege of working directly for Mr. Tom Giannopoulos – Chairman, President and CEO MICROS Systems, Inc. for many years as GM of the HSI Division of MICROS. Applying her deep industry experience, Cyndi leads the US based sales team working with major accounts in all segments.
Roy Negri, Head of Product, oversees the entire product portfolio across all of MyCheck’s operating regions. With over 10 years of industry experience, Roy is a product professional driving strategy and holding the UI/UX at the heart of the product vision and roadmap. Roy is responsible for the design lifecycle, new developments, features and data-driven products. Prior to joining MyCheck, Roy worked in the VAS industry as Product Manager for Digital Turbine Group for both mobile and web-based products. Previous to this role, he worked at Emblaze Group Ltd as a Product Marketing Manager. Roy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Marketing Communication.
Giacomo Podda joined MyCheck in September 2014 as the Head of Customer Relations. Giacomo has spent over 10 years in the hospitality industry, managing exclusive bars and restaurants across London. His passion and profound knowledge in the hospitality sector together with his abilities to lead large teams to success, makes him an integral of the MyCheck team to establish the highest customer service for our clients. Giacomo ensures that MyCheck clients receive a tailored solution to satisfy their business needs, delivering a 5 star experience.
Sami Maltz Bin, Partner and CEO of MyCheck Brazil, is responsible for the company's BR operations. Prior to MyCheck, Sami was a strategic analyst for Portocred Financeira, working on the comercial reestructure of the company. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with focus in Finance and Marketing, from Syracuse University.
